This Privacy Policy explains what information Sprout Work collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — your email address, and if you sign in with Google, your Google account name and email.
• App data — the tasks, timers, todos, widget settings, and preferences you create in the app, stored in our database so you can sync across devices.
• Usage & device information — basic technical data (browser type, device type) collected automatically to keep the Service working reliably.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the Service, including cloud sync of your data across devices.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To respond to feedback or support requests you submit through the app.
• To show advertisements to free-tier users (see Section 4).

We do not sell your personal data or app content to third parties.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account and app data are stored using Supabase, a third-party database and authentication provider, with access restricted to your own account via row-level security. Some data is also cached locally on your device (browser local storage) for offline use.

4. Advertising

Free-tier users may be shown ads served via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to serve relevant ads, governed by Google's own privacy policy. Pro subscribers do not see ads.

5. Your Choices

• You can export your data as a JSON file at any time from Settings.
• You can delete your account and associated data at any time.
• You can disable cookies or ad personalization through your browser or Google's ad settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your stored data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
