These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sprout Work (the "Service"), operated by Sprout Work ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Sprout Work is a task-tracking and focus-timer application available via web browser and desktop application. We offer a free tier and a paid "Pro" tier with additional features, as described on our Pricing page.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account (via Google sign-in or email/password) and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
The Service — including its source code, user interface, design, graphics, the "Sprout Work" name and logo, and all related intellectual property — is owned exclusively by Sprout Work and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of the Service to you.
The Service incorporates certain open-source software components, each used under its own license. See our Open Source Licenses page for details. Use of those components does not grant you any rights to the Service as a whole.
You retain ownership of the task, note, and other content you create within the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service (e.g., cloud sync across your devices). We do not sell Your Content.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except as permitted by open-source license terms that apply to specific components; use the Service to violate any law; interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation; or resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
Pro subscriptions, when available, will renew automatically until cancelled. Pricing is shown on our Pricing page and may change with notice. Refund and cancellation terms will be specified at the time billing is enabled.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sprout Work shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
